Hervé Arditty founded Photonetic in 1978 and led it to become a global leader in optical components and instrumentation. He sold Photonetics in 2000 in what remains one of the most successful exits of the French VC industry. He is now an active investor in industry and technology companies. He was a member of CNRS' board of directors from 1994 to 2000.
He graduated from Central Paris and holds a PhD in Physics from Stanford University.
